Hexacta receives ISO 9001:2015 Certification again!

  • The company recently got the recertification of the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
  • Obtaining this recertification means that Hexacta has been working through the years to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and improve its processes.

Buenos Aires, June 17th, 2020.   One more time, as part of our quality policy and commitment to continuous improvement, we have successfully passed the audit and received our ISO 9001: 2015 renewal. We first certified in 2018, and this year, we have renewed for the second year running.

Why ISO again?

Hexacta receives ISO 90012015 Certification again!

The ISO 9001:2015 certification is a standard for quality management that stipulates the requirements that a quality management system must satisfy to be effective. The standard is used by companies to demonstrate their ability to provide quality products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

“The reason we have again chosen this standard is its standardization and worldwide recognition, not only within software development companies but in several industrial areas. This ends up making it something known by all, and it becomes a worldwide guide to those who pursue the path to continuous improvement,” says Virginia Traversaro, Hexacta’s QA & Methodology Coordinator.

Some of the benefits of this certification include the increasing efficiency within the certified organization, reducing errors and complaints, and improving the organization’s processes and sustainably structures. It also helps in motivating employees through better communication and readily available information.

“From the Methodology and QA area –continues Traversaro– we had been preparing for several weeks, focusing not only on certification but also on the continuous improvement. We questioned our processes and the way we do things, not only for ISO but also to see if what we are doing is truly the best for Hexacta.”

As we adapt to the current times, the audit was carried out remotely by the certification TÜV Rheinland group, with whom we held online interviews about different areas of work and reviewed the company’s essential documentation. For this very reason, we had collaborative work from various departments of the company, which demonstrated a significant commitment throughout the whole process.

“When you choose ISO, you not only choose to have a good set of production processes and, consequently, a good final product, but to have a Board of Directors committed to the company and to the quality of what is delivered. Achieving this goal was also possible thanks to our trained Human Resources area, our good infrastructure, and our spirit of continuous improvement to maintain excellence,” ends Traversaro.

We are proud of having accomplished this milestone, as excellence and quality have always been distinguishing factors for us since our early beginnings. Those are values that, despite growing as a company, we have managed to keep intact.
