Brief description of the company
Lumesis is a company dedicated to providing technological solutions to the financial sector.
Founded in 2010, it efficiency delivers data and regulatory solutions for the municipal market in the United States.
The challenge
Lumesis was developing two applications for the municipal bonds financial market and was planning a third one. It already had a couple of business partners which ask for applications enhancements and changes in the short term.
The application worked with a large volume of data and Lumesis needed web applications with an intuitive user interface.
Hexacta was contacted by Lumesis to speed up its development process as well as contribute with the methodology and improve the application’s robustness.
Solution
Hexacta joins the Lumesis’ development team generating a highly cohesive team.
Hexacta focused on improving its current solutions, enhancing its user interface and improving the use of frameworks. The final product was a better and lighter application.
New features were developed based on partners’ requirements. They included applications to generate the data in the Database and the frameworks previously named to include them on the UI.
The Automated Testing framework was developed after a deep business understanding. An easy to maintain project that reflects the application’s status was achieved. It was developed using TestNG and Selenium. It was configured to run periodically on Jenkins.
